What Does A Having An Insurance Policy ‘Voided’ Mean?
In simple terms; when your insurance company voids your policy it means that they are treating it as though it never existed and therefore no insurance cover was in force. Policies are normally voided when an insurance company considers that:
The information given to them when the policy was taken out was incorrect or misrepresented in some way.
CHANGES IN RISK
Something changed mid-way through the policy that they were not told about at the time or at the next renewal.
The policyholder or somebody else covered by the insurance has not kept to the policy terms and conditions.
